When Meadow Walker Announces Split From Husband Louis Thornton-Allan After 2 Years of Marriage in a joint statement on Instagram, the daughter of late Fast & Furious star Paul Walker stated it was a “united decision” and asked for privacy during this difficult time as she separates from her husband of two years.
The 25-year-old Meadow married Louis in October 2021 in an intimate beach ceremony in the Dominican Republic. Her father’s Fast & Furious co-star Vin Diesel, who is Meadow’s godfather, walked her down the aisle in Paul’s absence. Meadow and Louis got engaged just two months prior to their wedding in August 2021.
Meadow wrote in the separation announcement, “After three wonderful years of marriage, we have come to the agreement to amicably separate. This is truly a united decision and we sincerely hope everyone can respect our wishes for privacy. We maintain mutual love and respect for one another, and will continue to support each other.“
A Tragic Loss That Bonded the Fast Family
Meadow was only 15 years old when her father Paul Walker tragically died in a car crash in November 2013 at the age of 40. Paul was best known for playing Brian O’Connor in the Fast & Furious franchise and was in the midst of filming Furious 7 when he passed away.
Production halted for a period as the cast and crew mourned the sudden loss of their co-star and friend. When filming resumed, Paul’s brothers Cody and Caleb stepped in to help complete his remaining scenes. The movie ended up being dedicated to Paul’s memory, with his character driving off into the sunset.
Paul’s co-stars formed a close bond with Meadow after his passing, embracing her as part of the Fast family. Vin Diesel in particular stepped up, becoming a guiding figure in Meadow’s life.

Four and seven are my dad’s favorite numbers. And I swear whenever I’m doubting anything or whenever I’m in an argument with someone, I start seeing four and seven everywhere. So I always know that it’s him.“
Meadow also got the chance to follow in her father’s footsteps by joining the Fast saga. She made her Fast debut with a cameo in 2022’s Fast X, filmed in Rome. Surrounded by her Fast family, Meadow said it “brings out the happiness” and that her dad “would be amazed that this is happening.”
A Whirlwind Romance Cut Short
Meadow and Louis Thornton-Allan kept their relationship very private in the beginning. They went Instagram official as a couple in July 2021, just two months before announcing their engagement. It seems their romance moved quickly, as they wed that October.
The pair tied the knot oceanside in the Dominican Republic, with Meadow wearing a simple white lace wedding dress. She was walked down the aisle by Vin Diesel, and other Fast co-stars including Jordana Brewster attended the intimate ceremony.
On their one-year anniversary in 2022, Meadow posted a sweet black-and-white photo of the couple embracing, writing “Happy anniversary my love! One year married to you.” Sadly, just over a year later, the pair have decided to go their separate ways.
